The church on Main Street will ensure the deed gets done, before the newlyweds and guests promenade three blocks to Nunu's accompanied by the fiddle sounds of young Cajun band Feufollet. Champagne and shots of pumpkin soup will entice guests during a cocktail hour, before the spread of slow roasted pork, boudin, smoked sausage jambalaya and sweet dough pies is unveiled. Grammy-nominated band Roddie Romero and the Hub City All-Stars will get the crowd on their feet and keep them dancing til' the stroke of midnight, when the bride and groom make their exit lest they turn into pumpkins.
