NuNu's Nightlite and Cafe, Town Market Gallery and the Frederick Stage are entirely run by volunteers!  From making sandwiches and sweeping the floors in the Cafe to booking the bands and creating festivals for the Frederick Stage, we volunteer to provide a rural hub for good food, arts and live music and all those who appreciate them.

Acadiana may be one of the last places in the United States where traditional, indigenous music exists. The "homogenization" of music throughout the country has resulted in the closing of thousands of venues where local traditional music once thrived. It is vital to our musical heritage to support venues and opportunities for Louisiana musicians.  It is equally important for musicians to do their part at helping to establish a community of supporters.

Volunteers at NuNu's
are doing just that.
